On the evening of June 1st, LiCheng held its annual “Children’s Day Family Celebration” at the McDonald’s restaurant in Shipai Park. Fifteen children and their parents joined the event.
Hamburgers, chicken wings, cola… Faced with their long-awaited favorite treats, the kids cheered with excitement—so eager to dig in that they barely paid attention to the host’s opening ceremony! They munched away while half-heartedly answering the host’s questions. With cheese, grease, and burger crumbs smeared all over their faces, the little ones had parents laughing out loud. Once fully satisfied, the children took the stage to perform. Their lively dances, sweet songs, and heartfelt poetry recitations drew cheers and joyful laughter from other customers in the restaurant. On this special day for children, the audience seemed to catch a glimpse of their own childhood selves—innocent, carefree, and full of wonder!
This year’s Children’s Day celebration included not only a “Happy Meal Party” at McDonald’s and the distribution of beautifully crafted, fun gifts for children based in Dongguan, but also a special trip to an amusement park. As the kids rode the merry-go-round, their pure, joyful laughter seemed to lift the weight of everyday schoolbags, allowing them to float freely in a sea of happiness.
